Introduction: We talk about soul winning and each time we lead someone to the Lord, sometimes we wonder if we said just the right words.
Did we make the correct statements; there is always a nickel’s worth of doubt.
We also read
(Matthew 9:13) But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
and wonder if we said enough about repentance.
Of course we have to wait for the fruit of the vine, to really know. The thing we need to understand is how it happens and what takes place. We each will have a better understanding of what we have accomplished.
What I want to discuss is the 3 “shalts” of Romans 10:9
I. CONFESSION “…if thou shalt confess…”
(Philippians 2:11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
A. Eventually We Will ALL Confess
1. Confess Jesus Christ is Lord of All
2. Some today recognize Jesus as a:
a. Prophet
b. An extremely good man
i. Yet, a sinner like us
3. One day they will know
a. It will be to late for their soul
(Matthew 10:32) Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
B. Confess Him Today (Acknowledge Him as your Saviour)
1. Before men
(Psalm 119:46) I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
2. Then and only then will Christ confess you to God.
(1 John 4:15 ) Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
C. God Dwells Within Those Who Confess
1. Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
II. BELIEVE “…and shalt believe…”
(John 3:15-16) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
A. Will Not Perish
1. Not our physical death
B. Will Have Eternal Life
1. Our spiritual soul’s eternity
C. Whosoever Believes
1. Should not perish
2. Will have everlasting life
i. Spiritually
(John 3:36) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
D. He That Doesn’t Believe
1. The wrath of God is waiting for them
2. Notice God gave them up
i. Those who changed the truth to a lie.
ii. Those who worshipped and served the creature (bulls cows the devil).
iii. Worshipped anything more than the Creator.
(John 20:31) But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
E. Believe That Jesus is:
1. The Christ
a. God
2. The Son of God
a. With this belief.
i. YOU have eternal life in His name.
III. SALVATION “…thou shalt be saved.”
(Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
A. Whosoever

a. Ever existed
b. Ever was conceived & not born

B. Call Upon The Name Of The Lord.
1. Confession
2. Belief
C. Shall Be Saved, saved from Hell
1. (Given Salvation)
(1 Timothy 2:3-5) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
D. Jesus Christ Wants All Men To Have Salvation.
1. Wants us to come unto:
a. Knowledge
b. Truth
2. There is only one God
a. One mediator
i. One way, No other way
b. Jesus Christ
CONCLUSION: Based on what has been laid before you, you should have grasped the fact that God wants all saved.
Just know that
Through honest, heartfelt, genuine CONFESSION,
Through, honest, heartfelt and genuine BELIEF
SALVATION HAPPENS.
If You have just repented and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
The Glory in all of this is the realization that once you have called upon His name, with simple knowledge, that Jesus loves you, always has,
God loves you, always has, and now you are an inseparable part of God in Jesus Christ.
(John 10:28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Jesus continuing in verse 29 stating
(John 10:29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
The clincher in verse 30
(John 10:30) I and my Father are one.
Do you know Him?
Have you gotten that instant Salvation?
